The aim of the operation is to remove excess skin, tighten soft tissue and raise sagging muscles in the face and neck area.
The incision line is similar to that of the face lift operation.  
The excess skin is removed and any remaining deposits of fat are either directly removed or removed by liposuction.

The operation is usually carried out under local or general anaesthetic.
As with all operations complications can not be completely ruled out; in the individual case they are not always predictable.
A lifting operation can have the effect of making you look many years
younger. The final results can be viewed after 2-3 months.
