Growing up in Upper Austria, the son of Dr. Hermann and Renate Siegl. Strictly defined benefit and was educated, after visiting the school and the eight-year educational time at a secondary school in Linz 1989. Early on he was an amateur of Plastic Surgery. Even as a student, he modeled faces and forms, fell to work through creative and artistic skills. This combination of medical and surgical skills and artistic interest was probably the key to success.
Several stays abroad were followed during his student days in Graz, with semesters in Paris and the USA. He was particularly fascinated by the anatomy of the face, so that he held teaching lessons during his studies for younger students, because the anatomy is well-founded basis for a good surgery.
In 1997 he finished his studies. At the same time this year he began the doctoral Residency: Plastic Surgery-time assistant at the University Hospital of the Karl Franzens University in Graz and at the Hospital of the Sisters of Mercy in Linz, board certification exam in 2003, then to the area of specialization aesthetic surgery. Specialized training in hand surgery, breast surgery and aesthetic facial surgery. 2005 Appointed senior physician of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Rudolf Foundation Hospital of Vienna. Opening of the private practice of plastic and aesthetic surgery at the renowned Viennese private clinic.
In 2009 he founded the "Vienna aesthetics", the private practice of Plastic Surgery with operational activities in the private clinic of Gold Cross and Währing Clinic. His motto: Only when you feel comfortable, you can reach the ordinary. Unusually, the career of senior physician Dr. med. univ Alexander Siegl: He is the first certified specialist in plastic surgery in Austria and can look back after nearly 15 years of experience successfully operated on several thousand patients. The greatest compliment came from a plastic surgeon in Hollywood, who congratulated Dr. Siegl on his new office because a similar clinic in America does not exist.
He is a member of various national and international professional societies and has written over 100 publications and book contributions.
Meanwhile, at Vienna's aesthetics Dr. Siegl works with several specialists and cover the entire spectrum of plastic surgery. In particular to the priorities of breast surgery and facial surgery, many patients found help after accidents or breast cancer surgery to get back a better self-esteem.
